It Is Your Last 24 Hours On Earth: What Would You Say?
In my 31 years on this spinning rock in space I’ve learned that all experience is valid. Whether you are experiencing what is perceived as the best or the worst of what life has to offer it is all the same in a larger sense.
The more we zoom out and hold a more expansive view of life the more it all blends together as one inseparable experience. We are all living and dying as one organism. Every breath we take we take for the whole.
Everything effects everything else and a constant flux and change is the nature of life. Soon we will all be faced with our last days and what is real will become more clear than ever before. What we take to be important and vital are only facades and illusions. All experience is but a dream. It is only that which we are feeling that is real.
If we would just focus on how we are feeling the world would begin to feel better. During your last days you may come to realize that you’re only saying bye to your ego and not to life.
For, because you exist, you will always exist in some form. If we could only say bye to our ego before our final days we could experience the freedom that all the great masters have experienced here on earth.
As Plato remarked, “die before you die.” If you can accomplish this feat you become immortal and transcend the game of life and death.
